Look for another big issue of FEMFORCE – #163, to be exact- coming your way  in MAY of 2013!! As we head into the next thirty years of AC Comics, we like to think that the best is yet to come!!  What’s in store in this upcoming chapter in the ongoing saga of the world’s first and only successful all-female superteam?  Long-hidden secrets threaten the relationships that bind MS. VICTORY, PARAGON and RAD; as well as NIGHTVEIL and her lover, The BLACK COMMANDO, even as the villainous ALIZARIN CRIMSON plots against them.  And what of WAMPYR and her zombie-master cohort? STARDUST gains more understanding of  human culture and helps NIGHTVEIL banish a gang of demons during a night out at…a baseball game? K’ari Conquest, the GAMMAZON HOUSEWIFE returns, as a threat to her adopted home (our Earth) from her old civilization, many light-years away, mandates a team-up with the FEMFORCE. A flashback story pits The BLUE

BULLETEER  against street hoods to save the life of a nightclub dancer, and that stalwart stanchion of justice the FIGHTING YANK returns, facing a menace so dire that he must fight side-by-side with The FEMFORCE to deal with it. This feature-length story (written and drawn by Eric Coile) brings back the cult-favorite version of FY, as seen in his  AC miniseries of 2001-2002. All of that and more surprises (from creators including Eric Johnson, Mark Holmes, Eric Theriault, Dan Gorman, Jeff Austin, Scott Shriver, Rock Baker- and maybe even a couple of guys named Black and Heike!) will be found within the pages of FF #163 -STILL 80 pages of all-new, never-before-seen story and art in glistening black and white for only $9.95! Also, we’ve finally worked out our miscommunication with Diamond Distribution regarding alternate cover promotions, so this issue will  ship with TWO different cover options- a “standard” cover version, by long-time FF artist Eric Coile, and a special cover variant (starring STARDUST) penciled by the late Eduardo Barreto. These two versions will be shipped to Diamond Distribution in a 4:1 ratio; FOUR copies of the standard Coile cover to every ONE copy of the special Barreto version. If you want to be certain of getting the Barreto variant, be sure that your local retailer orders enough copies of this issue. Although Diamond cannot GUARANTEE it, a retail order of five copies should include four “regular” covers and one variant. Look for FEMFORCE #163 to be offered in the March, 2013 issue of Previews ( V23, #294) and be sure to put in an order with your local retailer.

    Great news.
Thank you for the early heads up .
Naturally I will by buying “in depth” to make sure I get copies of the variant cover. Thank you for making this option available.
Looks like the is a lot of great art and story on the horizon. Thank you also for working so hard to bring them to us.
    It’s gonna be great.

    Great news.

And glad you’ve got the logistics of alternate covers worked out.

Love the Coile cover. And sounds like a great batch of stories.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Love both covers, though I might favor the regular one. It’s a very nice shot of the FF ladies!

OK, I admit that I get excited about every issue of FemForce, but to hear that Eric Coile is going to be doing Fightin Yank again has me absolutely giddy! Really folks, if you haven’t read the AC fightin yank series then go to the AC store and get it NOW! This is WAY up there on the Must Read list.
