Principle photography was completed January 9 on a new STORMY TEMPEST feature, the first Nightveil Media production of 2012. Stormy Tempest faces off against a MOSSMAN monster (as created by Chris Casteel) and a new adversary VELOCITY BLAZE (Autumn Sage). Also returning is bounty hunter CLAYTON THE SLEEPER (Pierce Knightley). Filmed on location in the wilds of Cassadaga, Florida, this comic book-style action adventure series is based on Bill Black’s FEMFORCE creation, STORMY TEMPEST. NICOLA RAE plays the lead character in the as yet untitled feature. Our favorite Interplanetary hotshot can also be seen in the next issue of FEMFORCE (No. 158) which will be released later this month. The last Stormy movie, STORMY TEMPEST: TORMENT IN TIME was Nightveil Media’s best selling film of 2011. Watch trailers for all the movies at www.accomics.com and www.cultretro.com.
It’s A Wrap! New Stormy Tempest in 2012 by Bill Black
– January 11, 2012

Stormy looks awesome! Better than ever. I’ll take an old school Mossman over a CGI cartoon any day of the week. It looks like the gals and guys have really outdone themselves this time. I am so ready for some action and adventure
Prior to this new Stormy stuff the last major project we filmed (last year at this time)was Nyoka Rides Again and Nyoka Fights Back, which featured some of our best and most exciting action sequences. I believe that what we filmed this weekend was even MORE spectacular.
The fighting was more brutal than anything we have done before, we beat the tar out of Nicola Rae, the environment itself was dangerous, everyone brought thier “A” game, and the entire crew both in front of and behind the camera walked away bloody and bruised and exhausted.
It was vicious.. but it was AWESOME!
Great news When will it be available for purchase? I want to be 1st in line.
Not for awhile. The most recent Stormy film (Torment in Time) was just the very beginning of “Season 2″. These new films will be part of “Season 3″. There are atleast 2 more Stormy films to release in Season 2 before we get to this new stuff. Not mention the Angel Avengers and Ghost of Garganta. You likely won’t see the Mossman until summer.
If anybody is taking count, John and I have busted out NINE (count ‘em…9!) new films since Oct 7, 2011.
Nobody is doing better work in the genre than you are now. Can’t wait for season 3. Any approximate release date for the next Stormy Tempest or Angel Avengers?
A Swamp Monster!!! I like it!!! I hope you guys considere if there be a swamp land o swamp planet, you make a scene of Stormy Tempest falling in quicksand. That would be great! Thank you.
