Burn Witch Burn - $14.95

College Professor Norman Taylor (PETER WYNGARDE) was on the fast track to a successful career teaching scientific logic in a small college in Great Britain. Imagine his disappointment when he discovered that Tansy his wife (JANET BLAIR) was protecting him from an unknown evil by witchcraft. Refusing to believe in the occult, he orders her to destroy her so called protection. However, once the safeguards are removed, Taylor finds his life rapidly spiraling downwards. Was it true? Was he now at the mercy of true black magic... a power that will destroy them both?

Written by award winning author RICHARD MATHESON (with CHARLES BEAUMONT) and directed by SIDNEY HAYERS, this gripping and atmospheric horror thriller produced by Albert Fennell, Julian Wintle and Leslie Parkin of THE AVENGERS TV fame, is a superb example of this genre. Released in 1962, in B&W, approximately 89 minutes in widescreen format. Special Features: INTERACTIVE MENUS with chapter selection and extensive TRAILER REEL.

Curse of the Faceless Man - $14.95

While excavating the site of Pompeii, the city buried when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, the body of a man encased in lava rock is discovered. With the stone man is found a jewel chest. After this find is transported to the Naples Museum, strange things happen. A translation of a medallion discloses that the body is Quintillis, "son of Etruscan gods," destined to live again. After called in to study the stone man, Dr. Paul Mallon (RICHARD ANDERSON) learns that his fiancée, Tina (ELAINE EDWARDS) is having strange dreams about Quintillis. Being an artist, she is compelled to paint its portrait. Then the creature comes to life, drawn inexorably to Tina who is the reincarnation of his ancient love. Guided by occult forces, the Faceless Man, impervious to bullets, pushes on... apparently an unstoppable menace. Directed by Edward L. Cahn from a screenplay by noted sci-fi author, Jerome Bixby, CURSE OF THE FACELESS MAN is an unnerving, well-mounted terror tale reminiscent of the MUMMY series of the 1940's. Starring: RICHARD ANDERSON, ELAINE EDWARDS, ADEL MARA and LOUIS VAN ROOTEN. B&W, 68 minutes, 1958.

Extras include "CURSE OF THE SCORPION", the 30 minute Chapter 1 of the serial THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN MARVEL. This entry containing the origin of Captain Marvel stars TOM TYLER and FRANK COUGLAN, JR. B&W 30 min. 1942.  Other features include interactive menu and extended trailer reel.

Crypt of Horror: V is for Vampire - $19.95
Actors include Francis Lederer, Barbara Steele, Michael Lynn, Ann Merritt, & Gene Densmore, with direction by Bill Black & Mario Bava. This is a region-free, all-ages, unrated DVD movie presentation shot in black & white and COLOR, recorded on two DVD-R discs. It should play on any standard DVD , and runs over 180 minutes. First DVD in the CRYPT OF HORROR series , hosted by LON MADNIGHT, who presents over THREE HOURS of terror, including RETURN OF DRACULA, the rare 1958 feature starring Francis Lederer; CARNAGE OF DRACULA, a never-previously-released 1964 COLOR film written, produced & directed by BILL BLACK, plus other features!! RETURN OF DRACULA was the FIRST Dracula film of the 1950's; in fact THE first major-release picture to cover the Dracula legend after the heyday of the Bela Lugosi era. Star Francis Lederer, a handsome leading man of the 1930's, gives an offbeat portrayal of the celebrated Count, and setting his vampiric antics against the "modern" USA of Eisenhower-era California gives this film an unusual feel. Though entirely in black and white, the films heart-staking climax features a flash of RED color for shock effect. CARNAGE OF DRACULA, Bill Black's great "lost" horror opus of his film school days of the mid-1960's, features Michael Lynn as Count Dracula, again played against the modern world, as a scientist labors to "cure" the Count of the terrible "disease" that drives him to feed off the blood of humans. When the treatment takes too long, the Count reverts to his true age, and must make a meal of the doctor to regain his vitality. Devotes of moody, Gothic horror genre pieces should find this disc a winner. CARNAGE OF DRACULA, in COLOR; is released on this disc for the FIRST time, ANYWHERE. Horror host Lon Madnight is great fun in the tradition of the superb late-night fright movie hosts of the 1950's & 1960's..

The Blob - $14.95
The Original 1958 Sci-Fi Classic.... THE BLOB! Nobody believes teenagers, especially when they tell you that a pulsating gooey glob of gunk has fallen to earth in a meteorite. And that this gob absorbs human beings and increases in size as it glides and slides thru the streets. But when THE BLOB eats enough townsfolk to grow as big as a building, the cops finally listen to Steve McQueen in his first starring role. Produced in Pennsylvania on an ultra-low budget by Jack. C. Harris and directed by unknown Irvin S. Yeaworth, Jr., THE BLOB went on to become one of the most memorable of the 1950's monster movie entries. Young actor McQueen had been working in Hollywood in small, supporting parts, when this chance at a starring role came his way. Immediately thereafter, he appeared in an episode of Robert Culp's TRACKDOWN series portraying a Western bounty hunter, Josh Randall. Faster than Josh could pull his "Mare's Leg," his character was spun off into the successful TV series, WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE. Fortunately for BLOB producer Harris, McQueen had developed a name and considerable fan following by the time his monster movie hit the theaters. Also in the cast was Aneta Corseaut (later to become a regular on THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW) and veteran character actor, Olin Howlin, who in the 1940's, played the mysterious disembodied head that narrated the INNER SANCTUM movie series. It should be noted here that THE BLOB had its own theme song, and, was the only '50's monster to have one. This digitally remastered version faithfully reproduces the entire film, in full color. This all regions video is unrated, recorded in NTSC format on a DVD-R disc, and should be viewable in any standard DVD player.

Mario Bava's Black Sabbath - $14.95
From the imaginative pen of visionary author Jules Verne comes the fantastic story of Robur The Conqueror (Vincent Price) who flies across the world in his enormous airship bent upon destroying the Dogs of War wherever they should appear. U.S. Secret Service Agent Strock (Charles Bronson) and allies (Henry Hull, Mary Webster and David Frankham) try to stop him because his targets include American military. Set in 1848, this was American International's second period movie designed for "hard top" theaters. A year earlier, producer/director Roger Corman had convinced AIP honchos Arkoff and Nicholson to take a chance on a higher budget production. For years they had churned out low-budget thrillers for the lucrative drive-in theater market. But Corman's HOUSE OF USHER proved that AIP could be successful in first run theaters as well. MASTER OF THE WORLD would be the fledgling company's second entry into this new arena. The name value of Edgar Allan Poe combined with actor Vincent Price's popularity led to box office success. AIP hoped to duplicate this triumph with another classic author, Jules Verne. Roger Corman was already busy with his Poe sequel, THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM, so AIP put action director William Witney at the helm of MASTER OF THE WORLD. Witney was a past master at bringing in films on time and within budget as he has began his career at Republic directing cliffhanger serials (SPY SMASHER, NYOKA & THE TIGER MEN, etc) and the hugely successful Roy Rogers series. Based upon Verne's two novels Robur The Conqueror and Master Of The World, skilled screenwriter Richard Matheson delivers a literate, lively and highly entertaining screenplay. The robust music score by Les Baxter proves to be one of his best. Widescreen, color, 102 minutes- plus extras. This digitally remastered version faithfully reproduces the entire film, in full color. This all regions video is unrated, recorded in NTSC format on a DVD-R disc, and should be viewable in any standard DVD player.

Fiend Without A Face - $14.95
In this science fiction thriller from 1957, Marshall Thompson plays Air Force Major Jeff Cummings, based at a strategic military installation on the US-Canadian border where fantastic events take place. An invisible force seems bent on destroying human life by ripping out brains. It is discovered that fiendish creatures were spawned at an illicit research laboratory. They multiply at an alarming rate and it seems their appetite for human nervous systems is insatiable. The faceless monsters become visible at the film's climax for a final confrontation with the ever-diminishing military forces. The visual effects are quite well done for a '50's low-budget thriller and fans of this genre will not be disappointed. This Amalgamated Production originally appeared on a double bill with THE HAUNTED STRANGLER, starring Boris Karloff. This digitally-remastered black & white film is available here as an all-regions DVD, playable on any standard DVD player. This film is not rated, and has a running time of 75 minutes.
