readers because it provides origins of the team and its members and
includes a reprint of
FEMFORCE #1 and the team origin story from a
special entitled "Untold Origins of FemForce", both out of print.

ASKED QUESTIONS
Why did AC Comics
do an all-female team super hero book rather than of mix of male and
female?
Because there were no all female teams at the time we started. It
was a first. Conventional comic book thought was that female
superheroines wouldn't sell...there had to be some men to do the
"real" superhero work! But the series has run for #136 issues over
many years and although it was never a huge hit, it's still got a
great following while many so-called "hits" have come and gone! And
hey, if you've got special powers, you don't have to be a muscle
dude!
 Who reads FemForce?
The readership is male and female in an broad age range from "teen"
to "older" with the biggest group being in their 30's.... it's a
kind of PG-13 rated book.
Is Garganta a member of the FemForce? How about General Strock?
Who is and who isn't?
There are six regular, long-time team members and several auxiliary
members. That's what Garganta would be. And General Strock
is a not
a team member, but a liaison between the heroes and the government.
