We’re celebrating our Fortieth year in 2025 of our long running superheroine series, Femforce! Technically, Femforce started publication with a short story in 1980 followed by the Femforce Special in 1984! The independent comic book series, Femforce kicked off in 1985, followed by spin-off series, solo books, direct-to-video movies and SO much more!
AC Comics started publishing comics in 1982 (as Americomics, we became AC Comics in 1983). After experimenting with a variety of titles, AC Comics began releasing FEMFORCE as a regular comic book series in 1985! With the emphasis on photogenic female lead heroes, good story-telling and characterization and a dash of humor, it was so popular with the fans that it became AC Comics’s flagship title!
The very first all-female comic book superteam has been “saving the world” and “entertaining their readership” for years. With grace and beauty, action packed stories, fun and adventure, (and looking fine
all the while) the ladies of FEMFORCE have attracted a wide variety of readers!
We’re shooting for 2026 with an eye towards the future!
