All Color!!! Ms. Victory has decided it is time to retire her old civilian I.D. and begin anew, and in preparation scheduled a number of seminars for Joan Wayne to speak at, determined to pass on all the vast knowledge she has gained in almost half a century as a biogeneticist. But, when in her normal human guise as Dr. Wayne, she is the physical equivalent of her chronological age- over 80 years old. So, when Rad and Brimstone cook up a plan to overpower her and take away her supply of V-47 (the compound that she leans on to give her super powers) she can hardly stop it. Dazed, enfeebled and without identification, left in a Chicago back alley, she is beaten up by street thugs. Found just short of death by the authorities, she is shipped off to a state nursing home. Because of a broken jaw suffered in the beating, she is unable to even communicate who she is, completely at the mercy of the social services bureaucracy. On Dhagor, Synn finally figures out how to use her powers under the constraints of the differing physical laws there, and escapes Vivarna. Searching for Azagoth to beg for help, she finds something quite different, indeed. While on the trail of the suddenly missing Joan Wayne, Paragon finds her not only vanished, but wanted for murder!!
