Our AC Comics books
AC Comics is an independent comic book publisher! AC Comics is not a comic shop retailer. We sell our brand new comics worldwide through Diamond Distribution's Diamond Previews catalog through comic shops worldwide and our comic book back issues (from 1983 up to today!) through our website at https://www.accomics.com .
We always urge you to support your local comic book retailers to PRE-ORDER and BUY your NEW COLOR AC Comics from them, but if you can't find AC back issues, we have most of them here. Yes, we are SOLD OUT of some of the latest COLOR issues and have priced remaining copies accordingly.
We have back issues since 1982 for sale on the AC shop. If you can't find something you're looking for or if you experience any trouble with our online store, please contact us! The prices are based on the current quantity we have in stock. We are SOLD OUT of some of the latest COLOR issues and have priced remaining copies accordingly. If you want the new color issues at the $5.95 COVER PRICE, please pre-order them from your local comic book shop through the Diamond Previews catalog. The older newsprint color books, unless they're rare, we usually have in stock, but all the black and white issues were published in a much lower quantity --when they're gone, they're gone!Submission Guidelines for AC Comics

For Pencillers, Inkers, Letterers and Colorists:
We really love and appreciate getting enthusiastic artist submissions from potential freelancers, including pencillers, inkers, letterers and colorists wanting to do comic books, but please DO NOT send ANY attachments to this email address.
If you have your art posted somewhere online on a site that you could send us a link to, that would be great!
Please email links to your artwork posted somewhere online (for example, on a showcase/gallery website or a dropbox/wesendit/etc.. file to show off your artwork) and we'll check them out.
We would like you to be able to demonstrate some ability to produce reasonably effective comic book continuity ( Six or seven pages utilizing multiple panels telling a story or sequence of a story) with attractive people/superheroes/superheroines.
Ideally, we would like to see four or five of those pages with depictions of mundane everyday scenes to give us an idea of the quality of the comic artwork by itself before we make a decision to move the discussion along.
We are looking for sequential storytelling in comic book art. We've gotten several people sending us "paintings" lately --static, digitally over-rendered generic straight-on shots of individual characters and being indignant when we've told them "No, this is wrong." We want to see comic book artwork.
While we do not strictly have a "House Style", we do prefer material that will lend itself to "classic American style comic books". If you can draw attractive people using sequential storytelling , we can probably find a place somewhere your material will work.
- Pencils: should be sequential and un-inked--if you have inked samples of your pencils, please include both the inked and the UN-inked pages.
- Inks: Samples should be sequential pages--if you have inked samples, please include both the inked and the UN-inked pencilled pages.
- Color: Color should be directed towards print publication. We would like to see samples of included of both finished tones with special FX and preliminary flats.
- Lettering: Should have some basic display samples as well as balloon lettering. Show that you can handle standard comic book dialogue and sound FX. (We do not use lower case fonts unless a character is whispering!)
