Our unexpected success with the last October’s Heroine Heaven #1 has inspired us to return with another trio of great but forgotten costumed heroines from the dawn of comic book history in Heroine Heaven #2. BLACK VENUS was a heroic aviatrix operating over various parts of the globe for the allied cause during the latter days of The War, and LADY SATAN; a quasi-mystic saving innocents and solving mysteries in the Post-War period, she was drawn by Ralph Mayo, who later illustrated such notable characters as CAMILLA, The BLACK TERROR and JOHNNY QUICK. LS came out of the very quirky Harry “A” Chesler line of comics.
